Ryan Brown helped found Healing the Children Rocky Mountains and is a Facial Plastic Surgeon in Denver, CO. As early as preschool whenever anyone asked what he would be when he grew up, he would quickly respond "A doctor! To help people!" That has been the driving passion in his life- to help others and bring as much healing as possible to them. He has travelled to over 35 countries and performed service and medical mission work as much as possible. Ryan is thrilled to now have an organization to help channel the great desire of many volunteers to help bring smiles to the faces of thousands of children through free surgical care. He is married to his beautiful wife Ann who helps him organize missions and he has a 6 year old son and a 3 year old daughter with whom he spends as much time as possible.
Ann Brown is a former non-profit event planner, turned stay at home mother, who in her spare time handles all logistics for Healing the Children Rocky Mountains. Ann found a passion for helping the children of Central and South America during an alternative spring break trip back in college to Nicaragua. Having no medical background but a huge desire to make a difference in the world, Ann has found a way to put her skills to use for a good cause. Someone has to make sure the team is fed, has a place to sleep, and the paperwork is done! The highlight of each mission for Ann is to be able to work side by side with her husband Ryan to change the lives of so many children. Ann is the mother of two incredible children, Owen (6) and Julia (3). In her leisure time Ann enjoys running, swimming, hiking, and being with her family.
